Since 2020 I have created over sixty lessons based on various topics. Each lesson contains 10-15 conversation questions. To help visual learners, many include historic photos, graphs, infographics, and youtubes. If a student prefers they can also work from “authentic materials.” These are sourced from the latest news stories, radio interviews, Netflix documentaries, and Ted Talks (all with transcripts). These contain the jargon, idioms, pronunciation and tonethat native speakers use when they actually speak, sourcesyou won’t find in ESL materials produced by academics in Oxford.

Finding authentic materialsthat are ageand level-appropriate of special interest to my students is something I enjoy and an area of personal expertise. If you have special interests we can explore them together. For example,I created an entire course for an IT manager history of California, and a six-week intensive for a student entering university the architectureprogram at the University of Warsaw.

As your conductor, my task is to ensure that you can both understand and be understood by English speakers. I have lived in Vienna, Prague, Copenhagen, and Vilnius and I am skilled at intuitingwhat people are trying to say, even if they lack the ability despite to say it. I can help you express your thought and ideas as well as understand the thoughts and ideas of others.

Learning is collaboration. Passengers on partnertrain.club are not students, they’re partners!
