Hello,

my name is Alex. I am an American raise in New York and New Jersey but I have lived in Ukraine for the last five years. I have taught herein public gymnasia and also in private schools like Study Academy, Gymnasium A+, Ukrainian Global School, and Creative Kids International School.

In the U.S. I was a piano teacher, music theory teacher, and tutor of history, mathematics, test preparation, and English academic writing. I earned my CELTA certificate at St. Giles International School in NYC, 2016.

I have a bachelors degree in Political Science with a minor in International Studies from Montclair State University, and a MA in Global Affairs from the Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. I worked as a teachers assistant in Economics at the University of Delaware and are search assistant in Political Science at the State University of New York at Albany. I also have studied film production, music, and psychology.

I have lived in Vienna, Cambridge, Prague, Copenhagen and Vilnius, where I developed a lifelong interest in European history and culture. I have also lived in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Vermont, Hawaii, San Francisco and Los Angeles, so I know the special dialects, mentality, and culture of these places.

I started playing piano at the age of five and studying music theory at the age of fifteen. I write music and have been a keyboardist/vocalist in several rock bands. I have also played in the seventeen-piece jazz band sat San Francisco State University and Montclair State University. My hobbies are cooking and swimming.
