Group lessons are a fun way to connect with other Ukrainians, share opinions, and improve your speaking skills. People share their likes and dislikes, personal experiences, anecdotes, or stories their grandmother told them. There are no right or wrong answers.

Discussion groups help develop fluency. Fluency is not about using the correct article or having a 5000 word vocabulary. The definition of fluency is using the vocabulary and language skills you already have to communicate as best you can.

Movie Club for Everyone

Watching movies, catoons, or series is an excellent low-stress aid to language learning: My first major at univeristy was Film Production and I watch a movie almost every night. Movie club members help choose the movie. We watch it together and then talk about the plot, characters, and the message and ideas the filmaker is trying to share.
